On 12 February, the scholarship award ceremony of Hochschule Niederrhein took place in Mönchengladbach. As part of the Germany Scholarship Programme (Deutschlandstipendium), the Dewender Foundation supports three scholarship recipients in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Industrial Engineering.

At the Germany Scholarship Programme award ceremony, organised by the RWTH Education Fund (RWTH Bildungsfonds) in the Coronation Hall of Aachen City Hall, scholarship certificates were presented to 379 students and 113 sponsors. The Dewender Foundation supports two students in the fields of Architecture and Civil Engineering. The evening was opened by Aachen's Mayor Sibylle Keupen and RWTH Rector Ulrich Rüdiger. In addition to networking opportunities and live piano music, the programme included a presentation by poetry slammer Eric Jansen and an interactive quiz session.

On 5 November 2024, Hochschule Rhein-Waal hosted its Scholarship Dinner to mark the beginning of the 2024/25 funding period at the Lufre Restaurant in Kamp-Lintfort. The event brought together scholarship recipients and their sponsors. This year, 68 students are benefiting from the Germany Scholarship Programme (Deutschlandstipendium). The Dewender Foundation supports three students enrolled in the Mechatronic Systems Engineering programme. The evening provided an excellent opportunity to establish valuable contacts and discuss future career and academic perspectives.
