Germany Scholarship Programme

As education is a key building block for a strong economy and a fair society, since 2016 the Dewender-Stiftung has supported talented and committed students at several universities in the region through Germany Scholarships, primarily in the fields of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and engineering (STEM). To date, 48 scholarships have been awarded. 

The Deutschlandstipendium (Germany Scholarship Programme) is jointly supported by private sponsors and the federal government in order to promote young academic talent. The selection criteria include not only outstanding achievements at school and/or university, but also social commitment and the overcoming of particular biographical challenges.
