- Born on 19 January 1927 in Bühne (today part of Borgentreich), District of Höxter.
- 1933 to 1941 School years and childhood in Bühne.
- 1941 to 1943 Agricultural assistant with Heinrich Götte, Bühne.
- 1943 to 1944 Apprenticeship as a mason with Wilhelm Schulte, Warburg.
- 1944 to 1948 Military service, wartime injury and imprisonment as a prisoner of war in Amiens, France.
- 1948 to 1950 Completion of masonry training with Oelrich, Bühne; qualified as a journeyman mason.
- 1950 to 1954 State School of Civil Engineering in Höxter (later the University of Applied Sciences Lippe and Höxter, now OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts); Specialisation: Structural Building Construction; Qualification: Ingenieur
- 1954 to 1956 Architectural office of Nisters in Wankum
- 1956 Founded his own architectural office in Wankum
- 1967 Reclassification to the right to use the engineering degree Ingenieur (grad.)
- 1970 Entered in the Register of Architects of the Chamber of Architects of North Rhine-Westphalia (AKNW)
- 1982 Reclassification to the right to use the engineering degree Dipl.-Ing.
- 1995 Handed over the engineering office to Norbert Dewender; subsequently continued to work as senior partner
- Married Wilma Timmermanns (28 May 1931 – 23. November 2005), a bank employee, on 6 May 1958 in Wankum; Moved from Wankum to Wachtendonk.
- Daughter Edith was born on 13 June 1959 and passed away on the same day.
- Son Norbert was born on 16 November 1961.
- Construction of a new office and residential building and relocation from Kuhdyck to Kempener Str. 11 1962.
- Died on 21 July 2011 in Wachtendonk.
